Judge Announced for the 2018 National Holstein Show

Holstein UK, the organisers of UK Dairy Day which is the home to The National Holstein Show, is delighted to announce the official show judge for 2018. Mick Gould of the worldwide recognised Woodmarsh Herd of pedigree Holsteins, at Grange Farm near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, is this year’s chosen judge to oversee the Holstein category.

Heather goes Down Under

HYB member Heather Martin has arrived down-under for the HYB Australian Exchange. So far, Heather has been involved with Youth Week and was even selected to judge the novelty category.

Lancashire Holstein Breeder Claims Prestigious Award

Drum roll… Holstein UK crowned the champion of its prestigious 2017 President’s Medal Award last night.  Helen Eastham from Lancashire has claimed the title, and has won an engraved medal and a trip to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, kindly funded by HYB’s principal sponsor, Semex, later this year.  Congratulations also goes to runners up Tom Lomas (Western) and Lucy Taylor (Staffordshire).
