British Friesian Consistent Performer Award

The Consistent Performer (CP) Award recognises cows that are both fertile and productive. It is awarded to British Friesian cows (Breed Code 20) which have been identified through milk recording to have had three calvings within any period of three years and three months. In the three lactations after these calvings, they must also have produced 550kg of combined fat and protein (CFP) with a minimum of 4% fat and 3.3% protein in 305 days.

The award is run once per year and is automatically given to qualifying females that are owned by current members of the Society. For females that achieve the award, ‘CP’ will appear after their name on web factsheets. No individual certificates will be issued for the CP Award. A list of animals which have achieved the CP Award will also be printed in The Journal on an annual basis.
