Industry Support for Holstein Young Breeders
We are delighted to announce that NWF Agriculture is putting its support behind the next generation of dairy farmers by becoming an Associate Sponsor of Holstein Young Breeders (HYB), alongside their annual Principal sponsorship of UK Dairy Day.
NWF Agriculture is a national supplier of high-quality dairy, beef and sheep feeds. Covering the major dairy farming areas from Central Scotland all the way down the UK to Cornwall, the business manufactures and supplies ruminant compound feeds and blends, supported by a comprehensive Trading Desk supplying a range of straights and speciality feeds, forage seeds and additives.

We have a strong network of sales specialists across the UK who look forward to supporting the next generation of the dairy industry through the HYB clubs. The partnership will enable NWF Agriculture to share expertise and knowledge on dairy nutrition and management assisting members with maximising their herd’s performance potential”, comments George Franks, National Sales Director for NWF Agriculture.
Commenting on the industry support, Naomi Lewis, National HYB Coordinator, said “We are delighted to have NWF Agriculture on board as an Associate Sponsor of HYB, alongside Semex UK who retain their Principal Sponsorship. Their support will enable us to increase the offering to our members and will benefit members at both local and national levels. This partnership will help us to further support, educate and shape the future for young dairy farmers and breeders.”
HYB is part of the wider Holstein UK organisation with over 1,500 members aged 26 and under. HYB aims to educate, inspire and support the next generation of individuals choosing the dairy industry as their future career. The events programme shares knowledge and understanding about cattle breeding, stock judging and linear assessment, as well as helping members learn vital husbandry and showmanship skills, to compete and, importantly, to make friends and have fun.
