Lanarkshire Holstein Club Calf Show & Showmanship Competition

Grayridge Holsteins take top Calf Honours for third consecutive year with their entry from Class 10: August/September 2021 born calf, Grayridge Milio Laurie Sheik, born 15^th August 2021. Sired by Eclipse Milo and out of their homebred dam, Grayridge Doc Lory Sheik. Taking Reserve Champion was Aaron Smith from Greentowers with his December-born calf, Boclair Delta-Lambda Elegance 2, whilst in Honourable Mention was Club Chairman, Brian Weatherup with Parkend Grayridge Apple Sauce, a February 2022 born calf.

Keeping it within the herd, David’s son Calum (14) took home the Showmanship trophy, out of a respectable 16 young handlers. Closely followed by Ruth Allison (9), showing one of Uncle Brian Weatherup’s calves from his Parkend prefix, whilst standing in the Honourable Mention position was 17-year-old, Mark Bryson who was showing from his Carnduff herd.
