Lanarkshire Holstein Club Annual Herds Competition

The club held their Herds Competition on Wednesday 3rd August 2022 under the watchful eye of our judge, Mr John Gilmour Jnr, Humeston. With herd numbers competing reduced this year, the club were able to condense the visits in to one day, travelling through Lanarkshire and finishing the day in Fife.

Herds competing this year were: Messrs Baillie, Dalserf; Messrs Bryson, Carnduff; Messrs Lawrie, Grangehall; Messrs Neilson, Overside; and Messrs Weatherup, Parkend/ Lesmay. The club thanks you all for taking the time to compete, and wishes you well for further competitions.

Sponsors for this event were Harbro; Quest Farm Supplies Ltd, Scotmin Nutrition, SR Cattle Services, Mastergen, Semex, Alta Genetics, Davidson Animal Feeds, L S Smellies & Sons, and Roadhead Farm Feeds. Once again, the club cannot thank these companies enough for their continued and generous support – so the club ask you to support these companies, like they have done the club.
