Club News
The S. West Regional Training Day
Forty five Holstein Young Breeders attended the area training day at the Lynchmead Herd, Puxton Court Farm, by kind permission of D & A Mead & Co on Saturday 2nd April 2022. Young members from five clubs attended and took part in linear training, washing and clipping practice and enjoyed a showmanship demonstration.
The day concluded with a showmanship competition with champion handler Will Neale of Cornwall being presented the Derek Mead Trophy by Derek’s son Alistair Mead. Thanks must go to all the tutors and judges who helped on the day along with the sponsors Puxton Park, Cogent, The Cattle Information Service and Parson Farm Supplies for providing prizes for the individual winners and goodie bags for all who attended.
Thank you to everyone who helped to organise the day, Puxton Court Farm and all young breeders who took part!
