Dairy Industry Support

As highlighted in the media COVID-19 has caused severe market disturbance in the dairy sector, with a liquid milk supply chain too complex to re-direct unwanted milk.  Holstein UK is in close contact with the NFU Dairy Board regarding the situation and a letter has been sent to George Eustice highlighting the need for urgent action.

The society is fully supporting the NFU activity and the briefing they have prepared and submitted that highlights the need for urgent action to support the dairy sector.  We need a secure sustainable future to produce high quality British milk for consumers.
