With an extensive catalogue lined-up for the Perfection Collection sale on Saturday 21^st April 2018, a particular spectacle of the approximate 100-head offered is the quality of Red and White genetics. ‘The catalogue has something for everyone,’ begins Richard Bostock who along with fellow young breeders James Doherty and Tom Lomas will host the sale at Shrewsbury Market, ‘We are very proud of the genetics we have available and world-class true Reds and Red Carriers will sell.’

For the past 3 years the All-Britain Red and White Championship has been won by a calf bred by Panda Holsteins. The Devon-based herd focuses on producing show calves of the highest standard, and with that they are offering Panda Strike of Luck-Red, the oldest Mr Danielle Devour heifer in Europe. She is out of the former All-Britain Red and White Champion Calf Panda Rhubarb Gem VG86-2yr, who went on to be 1st Junior 2-year-old at UK Dairy Day and Reserve All-Britain Red and White Cow in 2017. A complete package, Strike of Luck-Red also has favourable genomics with +2.40 PTAT.

Lomas continues: ‘One of the most respected and appreciated Red cows in the world over the past decade is Suard Red Jordan Irene EX96. We are delighted to announce that her granddaughter will sell by Apples Absolute.’ This lot combines two defining World Class Red pedigrees; the Apples and the Irene family from Schrago Brothers in Switzerland. ‘This heifer looks awesome and we are honoured to be working with her. She is a daughter of Schrago Italia Indiana Red EX93,’ adds Lomas.

Also selling in the sale are a Red Diamondback daughter of Wilcor Defiant Magic VG86, hailing from the same family as Mox Maryrose EX90 and Riverdane Aikman Ghost RED who is bred for the European show in Libramont, Belgium next year.
