Edition 1 - 2024 - Derbyshire

Well Derbyshire HYB went down to ABAB with the aim to win it all and we certainly had some huge wins for the club with only 9 members!

 

The results for ABAB were as follows:

Natalie Herridge 7th out of 23 in Mature Showmanship

Millie Wardle 11th out of 18 in Intermediate Showmanship

 

Individual calves placed as follows:

12th - Darison Sidekick Rhapsody

9th - Flagg Doc Rae

7th - Ilam Robin Kathleen Red

13th - Meldamar Solarpower Farrah

9th - Riverdane Summer Farrah

8th - Ilam Ammaretto Nell

3rd - Darison Swingman Raquel Red

9th - Riverdane Tattoo Mattio

 

As for the stand the club had great success winning the Tidy Lines champion team, special thanks to Louise Bradbury for keeping the stand exceptionally clean that people wouldn’t even dare to walk in front of the stand! We also won Best Presented Large Stand champion team and Best Overall champion team.

The club also hosted their annual dinner and presentation evening on 27th October at The Bentley Brook with over 70 people attending.

The festive auction evening on 1st December was an unbelievable success with over 70 lots sold and a grand total of £8500 raised in preparation for hosting the 2025 weekend rally, thanks go to Mark and Meg Elliot for auctioning the lots. Also, a thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated lots for us to auction, we couldn’t of done it without your generosity and support.
