The North East Holstein Club’s Annual Dinner and Awards night held in January was a very enjoyable and well attended evening held at The Village Inn, Brompton. It was great to get back to normality after 2 years of the dinner been cancelled. Lee Graham, our Judge from the Summer Herds competition spoke very highly of the quality of the cows competing all of which are an asset to the club. Holstein UK president John Jamieson gave an uplifting speech about the future of Holstein UK. Two special awards were also given on the night. James Robinson was awarded a glass trophy as a memento for winning both the Individual Senior Linear and the Overall National Linear Senior Team competition at the rally last August partnered with Anna Goldie who also received a glass trophy. The night ended with results of all the years competitions been announced. They are as follows:
