Edition 4 - 2023 - Border & Lakeland

The summer of 2023 has been a busy time for all Border & Lakeland members competing on a local and national level. We are very proud of all the members and their continued achievements. A big congratulations to Len & Chris Wilson from Skirwith Hall Farms Limited, with their success in the Premier Herd competition, being placed in the top seven herds in the country. A highly commendable achievement.

Our calf show eliminators took place on Sunday 24th September, thanks again to H & H for supporting our young breeders and providing the venue, and a big thank you to Tom Lomas TLC for giving his time and expertise to judge the show. A task he did with ease and precision. From the first class, the novice handlers through to the calf championship, a full-on day with talent and class throughout each class.
