West Midlands Club - December News

What a successful day we had at our combined club calf show with the South West and Wiltshire clubs at Sedgemoor Market on the 3rd Septemberr.  A big thank you to Flick Coates and Andy Clements for allowing us to join them this year.

We then moved on to Peterborough to the All Britain All Breeds Calf Show and our small Club team all had an enjoyable time.  While we didn’t win any of the major prizes the whole club team gained a lot of experience.  We will hopefully be back bigger and stronger next year.

Our next event will be the Winter stock judging competition, which will be done via video link… watch this space!

Lucy Jones from Wiltor Holsteins, one of our long serving young members eventually got married at the third time of trying (due to Covid restrictions) to Elliott Ferriman on Sunday 29th August 2021. The wedding ceremony took place in the porch of St Marys Church, Wilcrick with a small number of guests stood outside in the sunshine, followed by the reception in a Marquee at Wiltor Lodge.
